At Holm Studio Personal Training, we invite you to experience our outstanding service and personal attention in a clean, distinctive and private fitness environment. Along with our group fitness Holm Studio Personal Training offers individual and partner personal training. Holm Studio also offers private small group sessions with our personal trainers (up to 4 participants).
As personal trainers, we specialize in Weight Loss, Lifestyle and Nutrition Coaching, Sports Performance, Muscle Gain, Corrective Exercise, and Core and Functional Strength Training. Holm Studio Personal Training also trains special populations, including Pre-Natal, Youth, Senior, and even people with conditions such as fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis and arthritis.
Owner Josh Holm along with personal trainer Paige McBride have over 30 years of combined experience in personal training and are all certified thru the National Academy of Sports Medicine or American Council of Exercise as specialists. We use our personal training knowledge to create individualized program design through an in-depth assessment process that includes goal-setting, postural assessment, gait analysis and medical & exercise history. CORRECTIVE EXERCISE
(POOR POSTURE, PROBLEM KNEES, JOINTS, POST-REHABILITATION, ETC...)
The wear and tear of life can wreak havoc on our bodies and cause chronic pain and injuries. Through a variety of assessments, we identify muscle imbalances, improper movement patterns, postural deviations and poor flexibility. We will work with you to improve balance, strength and mobility through a series of corrective strategies.
Our goal is to help you become a fully functioning, active individual.

YOUTH TRAINING
Our goal at Holm Studio Personal Training is to foster a positive attitude towards health and fitness during this critical time in our kids' lives. We feel that by helping to create this, it will encourage them to make healthier decisions in the future. We can train 1:1 or we often train kids along with their parents!
We design our programs to be fun and creative to keep the children interested & motivated. (Ages 12+)

PRE-NATAL & POST-NATAL
We are qualified and have experience in training women up to, during, and after pregnancy. Maintaining your overall strength, endurance and stamina during your pregnancy often improves recovery time following delivery.
Exercising during pregnancy can help reduce tension, stress and it keeps you active.

Josh Holm, Owner & Personal Trainer
My Mission is to cause people to be living in bodies they love, so that they go into the world with confidence, vigor, and strength fulfilling their dreams.
After years of working in large fitness clubs, small private health clubs and training client’s in their own homes and outdoors I finally fulfilled my dream of opening my own personal training studio in September of 2009.
I have been a full time personal trainer since 2002, training and educating others on fitness throughout Northern California and Illinois. I have many advanced certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, including Weight Loss, Sports Performance, Corrective Exercise (poor posture, problem knees, joints, etc...), Pre-Natal, training Youth and training Seniors. I live locally in St. Charles with my wife, Michelle (who you will see most days at the studio) our 17 year old son, George and 10 year old daughter, Hagen.

Paige McBride, Personal Trainer & Group Class Instructor
After years of personal training myself, I decided that my love of weight lifting and helping others would be the perfect career.
I love teaching people to gain their flexibility back and regain their sense of confidence in how their body moves.
